Accessibility Standards
one of my beefs is that organizations/institutions are sitting back and waiting for the provincial accessibility standards to address accessibility issues, but so far the proposed standards are weak; they are minimum guidelines.

Re: Accessibility Standards
the government is relying on organizations and groups to react this way. Most organizations are disconnected from each other, making them very weak. There is always a group/groups that think this doesn't affect them. besides from my viewpoint where I sit, most non-profit groups won't even hire qualified persons with disabilties which would make them more vested in the proposed standards, that's another subject on its own
